Los Angeles:

I'm used to live in NYC, but I had a great opportunity to visit the West Coast for few days. It was simply amazing. It was an opportunity to escape from the Big Apple and also a profitable business trip that allowed me to see an important fashion show, the D&A, and also the most important Flea market that the city of L.A. organizes monthly. I understood that everything is completely different, there is no comparison between the City of Angeles and Gotham City: fashion, people, activities, and especially the weather are so different.
That is the best way to apologize for my long absence from my blog, sorry my followers I was very busy...
Just the last important thing: ENJOY THE PICTURES!!!

Simply Santa Monica. Wonderful place, my favorite in L.A.

At the night I went I a crazy club, with some friends to listen the best DJ in L.A:
DJAM. These were my clothes for that crazy night!

Pasadina Flea Market

Just one hour by car from Santa Monica and here we are, an astonishing and huge flea market, where you can really find everything you want. It's crowed, so I really recommend to everyone that want to see and get the best offers going there early in the morning, no after 11.00 a.m. In this way you can skip the big line of cars just before the parking and also you can have the possibility to see all the objects and the garments before someone else buy them.
It's a very interesting place not only for occasional buyers, but especially for researchers, because VINTAGE is always be in fashion!!!
Check this stuff out!!!

This is what i bought in the Pasadina Flea Market:
A boy-scout shirt 8$
A pair of sunglasses with no brand 8$
A cap 3$
A pair of Nike 15$
Furthermore, visiting some interesting stores to research new ideas, I found very interesting Opening Cerimony, in particular this feat between Adidas and a New designer that unfortunately I don't remember the name.
Check this particular garment out!
A temporary Artwork in Santa Monica against the War in Iraq.

I was really chilled when I saw this temporary artwork. I had never thought to see something like that when I arrived close to the Santa Monica Pier. That attracted my attention much more than the beautiful landscape characterized by the beach, the sunset, and surrounded by serene people that were walking in a whatever sunday in L.A.
Provocative and at the meantime absolutely shocking.

An Inusual way to protest against The Mc Donald's Corporation

The Getty Villa Museum
A faithful Domus Romana reconstruction between Santa Monica and Malibu.
This place is amazing and I highly recommend to anyone that has the possibility to visit it. It is not absolutely true that L.A. is simply beaches, parties and Hollywood... There are a lot of interesting museums. This is one of them.

Santa Monica view during the morning...

Everything was so perfect during my journey in L.A.
I had the possibility to enjoy the simple things that I really miss in NYC. I come from Rimini, a nice city on the Adriatic Cost in Italy, and I lived for one year in Barcelona... Both places have seaside and great and hot weather in the summer time ... That is what I really miss in NYC and that is what I found for few days in the City of Angels!!!

In Something very unusual to see, but so common in California:
I wish I could have a wedding ceremony like that!

Another competition not so unusual in California. Body Painting contest!!!
Check it out!!!

In conclusion, a great advertising and a nice girl both directly from The City of Angels

D&A Los Angeles.

D&A is absolutely my favorite fashion show, it is very interesting because you can find new designers and new tendencies. Everybody is so friendly and helpful.
I had never participated to this show in L.A, and I can affirm that is very different comparing with the D&A New York. It was really useful participate to it. I saw flowers everywhere, bright colors and a lot of jewelries. There, I breath air of summertime and I saw a typical fashion summer style. An other important thing that characterizes this exposition is the willingness to respect the environment: Everybody produces garments eco-sustainable. This is the future that every famous brands should follow in order to help the Planet Heart.
